From the early 1800 to 1940 there was a great deal of architectural cavres stone used to decorate our most stately and beautiful homes and building. Sadly many of these building are starting to be taken down. Luckily there are a number of our clients that have understood the value of these materials and the dying art of architectural stone carving. Most of these ornamental details would cost huge sum of money to reproduce today. We are salvaging churches , school buildings, and homes on a regular basis and can help find appropriate architectural stone for creating any number of project. Currently we have a completely salvaged church that used to stand at 19th and Christian street isouth Philadelphia. The church is made of carved Indiana Limestone and has several large Gothic arched window, 4 giant spire caps, 6 Gothic Door arches and a great deal of wall capping and coping.
